hidingplaceI just finished reading The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. I had never read it before, although I had heard a couple of the stories that happened to her while in the concentration camp.

If you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend that you put it at the top of your list. It’s amazing to think of how God takes the troubles in our lives and draws us nearer to Him. Even the troubles that we don’t survive, He brings us through to the other side, to Him. Forgiveness is the most powerful gift that God gives us. Thank you Lord! We have no power outside of your power. Only you could look into the eyes of your murderers and love them and forgive them. Thank you that you give your children that same power to forgive and love the most unlovable.

I pray that I would be faithful in all that the Lord gives me to do. I pray that I would be surrendered to the point of loving others even if I am facing my own death.
