Josh and I are leaving today for our Round the World trip. We are flying Delta from Tulsa to Atlanta to Manaus, Brazil. When we arrive a driver from the tour company is supposed to meet us and take us to our hotel We will be there tomorrow, and leave for our Amazon tour the next day.

We didn’t sleep very well last night. We were excited, plus it was really hot. Welcome to Tulsa summer.

Josh is taking photos of the airport, and the planes. He wants to write a trip report for flyertalk.com about our RTW trip.

We arrived safetly in Manaus. Our driver was waiting for us. We tried to get some Brazilian Real’s ($) out of an ATM, but they wouldn’t work for us. Then I realized that I didn’t have my phone in my pocket anymore. I’m sure it fell out on the airplane, but someone went to look and didn’t find it. Oops.

The flight was fine. I got a little bored. I finished reading The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I watched Bolt (and I loved it). There were a lot of good movies on the flight, which was nice. The food was also good. I had the chicken dish, and Josh had the beef and shrimp dish.
