Last week, Pastor Alex finished his series called “Wired,” that was about our personality gifts that God gives each of us. He said at one point that the gifts were divided into two broad categories: speaking gifts and serving gifts. My top two were speaking gifts.
Peter gives this input into how to use the gifts given you,
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 5:10-11
I pray that I have the grace to speak as one speaking the very words of God, and not to use my words to hurt and destroy others.
