Beauty in the storm

Apr 9, 2008 | Blog, Kids and Family

I love spring. I especially love when a thunderstorm is rolling in. I love the humidity in the air, the power of the wind, and the enormous clouds. More than that, I think it’s the light: I love how the clouds cut off some of the sunlight and give everything a surreal look. The colors are intense, but darker than normal, and the outlines of everything seem stronger and more vivid. It’s like dusk, but with chutzpah.
