London British Museum

I visited the British Museum, with all the praise that my British college professor had for it ringing in my ears. He was right about all the treasures of the world residing there: it is a very extensive museum. I thought that their Egypt collection was especially good. I did not see everything in the whole museum, I thought I would come back again, but I didn’t. I did see a lot of the rooms, and I enjoyed my visit.

One of my favorite parts about this museum, besides being free, were the hands-on exhibits that they allowed visitors to handle and look closely at. I’ve never been able to hold artifacts that were thousands of years old before. It was very fun and educational.

In honor of the Olympics there were the Olympic medals on display, as well as the design press, and the medals from the last London Olympics. They are rather large, and their designs were beautiful.
